More Winter

Working on new stuff, thinking about romantic love and the forms it takes on in our modern world, thinking about america still but in a more inward and personal way, the want to keep moving and grow after you’re physically ‘grown up’, thinking about being a man and the way that shapes my perceived role in my life and my relationships and trying to always be conscious of that, thinking about my thoughts on evil and what that means and how i don’t want to give any power to it.

Into the Great Wide Open. Next friday will be the first of 2 months worth of shows we will be playing. Can’t wait. Some notable destinations include Canada, Nick Selm’s Drink or Die Haus in Indianapolis, The punk FEST, and even a potential stop at God’s Butt in Birmingham, AL (not confirmed). For this tour, guitarist and road friend Matt Scheuermann will not be joining us. He’ll be focusing on personal endeavors at home where he feels he’s currently needed. Filling in on guitar and vocal duties is Shane Natalie, Columbus’s best kept secret and stellar drummer/vocalist in the pop-punk band Tight Bros (tightbros.bandcamp.com/). Awwwww here it goes…

In the aftermath of our first tour of 2012 and our first tour with Awkward Breeds, I would like to say thanks to everyone who helped us have a fucking incredible time. This means YOU Cheap Girls and the Menzingers, who were such amazing road companions and both cool-ass bands. This also means YOU Pat Brier, the greatest road dog that ever was and ever will be. This means a gigantic YOU all our wonderful friends, old and new, across the country who make living in this weird world slightly less weird and immensely more fulfilling. We return feeling grateful for the righteous hangs and excited for what is to come in the future. Most immediately, we’re heading back west again with fun-punk trio SPRAYNARD and the most important band in Ohio DELAY.
